Mission
Our mission is to teach Christ’s gospel and make people disciples of Him. (Matthew 28:19-20)

We exist to proclaim Christ's Lordship and connect people with God.
We are a transformational agent in our context through:
- A. Accepting God’s authority through Jesus (Matthew 28:18)
- B. Going to the people and teaching them Jesus’s gospel (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16: 15; Acts 1:8), so they may be made disciples of Jesus by means of
- a. Believing in Jesus (Romans 10:9; Mark 16:16; John 3:16)
- b. Repenting (Acts 2:38; Acts 3:19; Acts 17:30)
- c. Confessing Jesus as Lord (Romans 10:9-10; Matthew 10:32-33; Acts 8:36-37)
- d. Being baptized (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; 1 Peter 3:21; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:4; Acts 22:16)
- e. Being added to the church (Acts 2:41)
- f. Being taught to obey Jesus’ command (Matthew 28:20)

Elmwood's proud to be involved in FriendSpeak. This is a program that gives non-native English speakers a chance at not only improving their conversational English, but it also gives them a friend.

Elmwood’s Christian Student Center on Purdue’s campus is making a difference in the lives of college students that are searching for and deepening a relationship with Christ.

Elmwood believes in the importance of ministry to teens and their families. Elmwood keeps teens involved in worship and a variety of activities.

LIFE Groups
Elmwood’s Life Groups are made up of six to twelve people who meet each Sunday evening in homes. They provide opportunity for Bible study, fellowship, and community.

Hispanic Ministry
Elmwood enjoys interacting with and ministering to members of the extensive Hispanic community here in Lafayette. We have a Spanish class/service at 10:40a.m. each Sunday.

We have been in a partnership with Glen Acres Elementary School since the 2013/2014 school year. The goal is to bless our community by blessing children and families through their school.
