What's the purpose for L.I.F.E Groups?
L.I.F.E means something to us. It provides us with a purpose. Our L.I.F.E Groups are designed to meet a variety of needs.
- They provide an atmosphere of Love. Our groups are where real caring and ministry takes place. A place to love people. A place to serve others.
- They provide a place to be Involved. There is no better place for everyone to
contribute and participate than in our groups. Everyone belongs and no one is alone. - They are a place for Fellowship. We are not meant to go on our Christian walk alone. We need each other. Our groups are designed to build closer relationships.
- They provide an opportunity for Evangelism.There is no better way to make “Christ Known” than through sharing our faith one on one. Our groups are designed to be a safe place to invite friends and neighbors.
How do I get involved?
We have many groups that meet at various places and times throughout the week. They range in size from 6 to 20 people. Our groups usually meet from early September to late May. For information about joining contact the church office.

In order to better serve our community, families in need can make use of our well-stocked food pantry on a monthly basis.

Elmwood’s Life Groups are made up of six to twelve people who meet each Sunday evening in homes. They provide opportunity for Bible study, fellowship, and community.

Hispanic Ministry
Elmwood enjoys interacting with and ministering to members of the extensive Hispanic community here in Lafayette. We have a Spanish class/service at 10:40a.m. each Sunday.
